RatCAP eliminates the need for anesthesia when imaging rat brains, removing the potential adverse effects anaesthesia has had on neuronal studies in small animal models. The RatCAP mechanical system enables the awake animal to move freely about a cage or Skinner box while the brain is being imaged.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1568997716722{padding-top: 35px !important;padding-bottom: 35px !important;background: #304f46 url(https://synch1.kommercialization.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/background.jpg?id=15310) !important;}”][vc_column css_animation=”bounceInUp” width=”7/12″ css=”.vc_custom_1569251291003{padding-top: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn” css=”.vc_custom_1575923560662{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

The RatCAP introduces a new approach to rat-brain imaging that may open new research opportunities in behavioral neuroscience and research into conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. It can help researchers study the effect of dopamine connected to drug abuse, as well as many psychiatric disorders[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_separator color=”sky”][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][insignia_section_heading title=”CAUTION—INVESTIGATIONAL DEVICES, CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT.
